Janaka said:

1.  He who has acquired vacuity of the heart, who thinks of objects only by chance, who appears as if awake though really asleep, has verily expunged all impressions and experiences of worldly objects from his mind.

2.  My desire to live and enjoy have died out.  Of what use to me are wealth, friends, learning, philosophy, and those thieves, the sense objects?

3.  Having known the supreme Self, the Witness, and the Lord, my desire for liberation and my fear of bondage have left me.

4.  The states of mind of that man whose doubts have ended, but who acts outwardly like one still in ignorance, are only understood by those who resemble him.
